Our Approach

Memocom.org is an initiative that was started to make this dream come through. It is our mission to let personal information become really personal in the broadest sense of the word. So for anyone to control their own data and decide for himself who he wants to share it with and when.

Let's make it happen 

Therefore we have launched this website memocom.org as a meeting place for everyone who supports this initiative and / or cares and wants to help or contribute in any way possible.

 

The basic idea is to develop an open source model that is accessible to everyone. Both hardware and software We see the ownership and management of personal information as a task of the government or Facebook but as a right of every individual and therefore want to develop software and hardware and also create the support and achieve the critical mass needed to to succeed this initiative.

 

This requires a lot of energy and willpower. After all, breaking existing monopolies is not easy and organizing initiatives "from below" is tricky.
